European Carp Classic Registration & Details

Following the huge success of the World Carp Classic over the years Angling Spirit are proud to be taking the Classic family of events to the next level with the launch of the European Carp Classic.

This event will be run on the same basis as a World Carp Classic in terms of format, rules and itinerary and will offer as part of it great prize table 3 entries in the sold-out October World Carp Classic.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the inaugural event will now be taking place at lac de Madine from the 4th to the 9th of April 2022 when the carps are at their biggest just before spawn giving the best chances to see the mythic 30 kg barrier broken by a competitor in the World Carp Classic family.

Event Details

• Event limited to 60 places.
• Prize table from our sponsors including section prizes, biggest fish and most importantly the top three places will go on to win their entry* in the World Carp Classic 2021 main event in October.
• The event will be run on the same basis as the World Carp Classic with anglers allowed to fish to a distance of 350m, a total of 6 rods per swim and if in a trio the possibility to have 2 boats on the water at the same time.

Condition of Entry

• Anglers to be 14 years of age minimum if accompanied by a parent or guardian
• No one under the age of 18 at the start of the event is allowed in boats
• All anglers and helpers to be insured as per event requirements
• All anglers to have a valid fishing permit including extras allowing them to take part in the event
• All competitors and Helpers will be required to sign the on-site registration form which includes a disclaimer to confirm acceptance and understanding of the full and final event rules, terms & conditions and any COVID-19 measures put in place.

Cost of Entry

• Basic entry fee £1100 for two anglers – one-off payment upon registration which includes a non-refundable deposit of £400

Extras – can be booked and paid for at any time. Extras are only taken into account against payment.
