The World Carp Classic is a great opportunity for the fishery students of Sparsholt College to experience the top end of angling competition, to meet important people in the industry, make contacts, and show themselves and the college to the fishing industry.  I have been working with the World Carp

Classic team for four years myself to pick the keenest and most reliable students that would really benefit from the experience, be a credit to themselves and Sparsholt by doing an outstanding job.  I am really pleased that, in my absence, Ralph is so dedicated to helping the students and making sure they do themselves and the college proud.  The students return to their studies with a great experience under their belt and one that will hopefully help them in their future careers.

Last year on the big Island the guys showed their metal, names and reputations did not phase them they controlled the Island firmly but fairly and were not afraid to hand out official warnings if they needed too.
