Pete describes this year’s plan, ‘Steve and I will fish for Ultima and of course England, it’s a great event and a very challenging venue and Steve can’t wait, he’s really looking forward to it, we will be preparing as much as we can in the next few months’ Other prominent Ultima consultants will be taking part, including Lee Jackson and Felix van der Marel as will previous winners and Ultima devotee’s Rob Tough, Tom Duncan Dunlop, Pete Truckle and Andy Judd, and it looks like being a fantastic event. Ultima as section sponsors will also have a big presence at the event and with the inclusion of Steve in the event, there is already discussion about doing some filming of the build up to the event and during the event itself, so keep an eye on both Ultima’s and the WCC websites. Marketing Manager Jane Wilson continues ‘this year has been massive for Ultima, our products like ‘Power Carp’, the new hook length’s and the unique ‘Pure Power’ Fluorocarbon mainline, which is in such high demand we are having to work around the clock to produce it. Many top anglers now consider Ultima products as ‘Must Have’ items and this is down to the company not only producing the best line, but by keeping a high profile with the best anglers at top events like the WCC.
