We've set aside the dates, June 18th - 23rd for the SA qualifier. It will be at the same venue as last year, Tzaneen Dam, Limpopo. We will be using the same pegs as last year plus we've got permission to use another piece of property on the water, giving us about another 5km of bank space. I've got a meeting in January to inspect the venue and decide if we will use it.

Due to us wanting to have a field of top anglers fishing the final, we’re still going to have a number of pre-qualifying events around the country… So far we've got one  close to Cape Town, one in  Kwa-Zulu Natal and one in the Southern Free State. In Gauteng & the Greater Johannesburg area we'll be having three events at three different waters. There will also be a number of Wild Card entries which will be drawn before the final, made up from those that entered the regional events.

The Gauteng and Southern Free State venues have been agreed upon, we're just finalising which one of three venues in the Cape area to choose, and one of two options in KZN. Once finalised, each of the venues details will be published too…. It is expected that everything will be in place by the end of January.
