![]() We are pleased to announce that Attila Csákány, who works for CarpLove, has caught a new PB. It is a great achievment for any angler to get a new PB and this is no exception. Here is some information as to how he caught it and some great pictures to show how excited he is!
Attila’s first trip in 2009, after previous reconnaissance, was to the Hungarian Reservoir of Palotás. He decided to use Frank Warwick's new boilie, Spicy Tuna & Sweet Chilli for this trip and, among others, he caught a new PB with a fine 25.3kg common carp. He caught all of the fish, including his new PB common, on a Combi-Rig – a fluorocarbon hooklink with the last 5cm braided - and used Hayabusa P2 hooks in size 4. The hookbaits were 20mm boilies, which were cut in two halves, and in the centre he put a cylinder sliced from a Pop-Up. By doing this he created a neutrally balanced bait then dipped the hookbaits in Dynamite Baits Spicy Tuna & Sweet Chilli liquid to give them a further boost. Attila pre-baited a large area with small particles including millet, buckwheat, sunflower seed and linseed flavoured with Dynamite Baits chilli liquid then, around the hookbait, also pre-baited some half 20mm boilies to complete the trap.
