More fish on the bank and Andy Chambers arrives at Madine Print Email
Over the past 2 days the carp are starting to show. In a crazy 1 and a half hour spell between midnight and 1.30 Am 3 fish were caught last night. All of the fish were in the 30lb + range and in great condition. For the second time in less than a week while one fish was being played another sent the bite alarm into a screaming fit. What a great noise that is .......unless you are out in a boat and can’t get to your rod. Fortunately the lads were fishing in pairs and all was taken care of. There are some massive schools of carp in Madine and when they are in your swim you had better be ready for them. Hit one and beware ......there are other around.

Andy Chambers has arrived at Madine as part of the preplanning for the event to mark out on a GPS where all the pegs are going to be. Andy will be spending 3 weeks at Madine creating the World Carp Classic event blueprint. The blueprint will include peg locations, launch points, Marshalling points, toilets/ showers, event HQ, car parking etc. After the great work that Andy did last year with the pegging competitors can be assured of having an equal chance of winning, especially as boats can be used for the first time at Madine.
