Having just returned from several International trips relating to the World Carp Classic 2012, I am delighted to inform you that the reaction to the venue we have selected has been amazing. At the time of writing, over 512 pairs have applied to enter and more enquiries are coming in each day. Along with these applicants, we have had numerous companies contact us for a full range of services that they would like us to provide, including sponsoring the event, for which I will be sending out a communication relating to this shortly.

We are pleased to provide this provisional outline of the itinerary, although it may be subject to change at any time.

Friday 31st August

• First competitors arrive and registration may begin.

Saturday 1st September

• Registration

• VIP drinks reception 18.00 in Cape de Monte (venue to be decided but should be in the town square and along the waterfront)

• Water taxi for competitors by local fisherman (to be arranged by Mayor of Marta/ Fishing president)

• Pasta and cocktail Party In Marta (Should be in the town square and along the waterfront)

• Entertainment: Musicians/DJ in Marta

Coach travel to return competitors back to Bivvy City (times to be confirmed & to be arranged by Mayor of Marta)

Sunday 2nd September

Opening Parade In Bolsena 19.00 hrs

• Opening ceremony In Bolsena 19.30 hrs

• Peg draw 20.00 Hrs

Monday 3rd September

• Competition commences 12.00 hrs

Thursday 6th September

• VIP meal

Saturday 8th September

• Event finishes 09.00 hrs

• Prize giving Ceremony 14.30 onwards to conclusion with media interviews
