Fish On the Bank again May 15th Print Email
Got a bit snowed under yesterday so missed out on the update but not to worry the update from today is much more interesting.

Good news again the boys have hit gold  with carp of 13kgs 16.5kgs and a fantastic 21kg mirror. As well as these they lost another 2. What is interesting is that the wind has now changed to a South easterly direction and the fish are biting again.

2 of the fish cam from a hectic 20 minute spell at 01.30. having successfully landed the 13kg mirror Hans immediately got his line out again and got it back on the spot…..a screaming alarm and a long fight was rewarded with the 21kg lump. So it goes to show that when you got fish in the area get your lines out as soon as possible.

In addition to the carp caught there have been a good number of bream and tench  to add to the excitement well if you call catching tench and bream exciting that is!!!!

Talking to the lads they have unanimously agreed that it has been well worth while going to the lake for the practice session so that they can try and test things out in advance of the World Carp Classic. The fishing is not easy with the weed that is in Madine but what these guys are finding out is the best way to fish in it and with it. After all if you are going to participate in the world finals of any sport don’t tell me that the competitors that are serious about winning don’t train!!!

The carp are in the middle of spawning at the moment but it is still encouraging that fish are being caught. And what great looking fish they are. I am looking forward to getting the pictures and sharing them with you.
I will update you tomorrow with the latest news.
