 The first ever WCC qualifying event in Holland has taken place over the weekend and we now have the results of who will be joining us at Madine in September. Congratulations to Chris Couter and Ron Roben, Ultima section, peg 1, who landed a 16.4 lb carp to seal their victory at the event at Sloterplas. They have won a place at this year’s World Carp Classic amongst other sponsor’s prizes. Second place went to Jaap Bakker and Leo Overmars, Ultima Section, peg 4, who just missed out on the top spot with a 15.7lb carp. Third place went to Gobin Raghunath and Koos Zoun, Mad section, peg 5, with a 14lb carp. We congratulate Holland on their successful qualifying event and we look forward to welcoming the winning pair to Madine this year.
