When I saw that Berkley were releasing a range of pellets and seeds I was excited, especially after watching their DVD showing the work that had gone into making their products. When my order arrived I wasn’t disappointed, and with my first trip of the year to Spain and the River Ebro,

I was going to need some Halibut pellets and I had got a plentiful supply of the range in 20mm, 16mm and 10mm.

What is handy is the size of the bags in 3kg and 900grm. In the past I’d had to purchase in large 20kg sacks which, more often than not, would leak halibut oil all over the car.

Now, with these 3kg handy bags, I can take a few bags along, which take very little room, and they are there if I come across a situation where I need them.
The smaller bags are also useful when I make up my pellet mix for pva bags and the 10mm halibut are ideal for this.

When I got to Spain I was expecting the carp to get on my boilies right away but this wasn’t the case. They wanted the Halibut pellets and I was certainly pleased I had the Gulp Halibut pellets.

As well as the Halibut pellet there are also other pellets in the range, including Tiger nut pellet in various sizes. I haven’t used these yet but I am sure they’ll be as good as the Halibut.
