Reports are coming in from anglers having test sessions at Madine with carp being caught to 60lbs along with others of 50Lb+.  In addition several other smaller carp were caught. The photographs will be going up on the website as soon as we have them. It never ceases to amaze me that when you have a lake as big as Madine and so much water for everybody to fish why pike anglers..........

 who have the benefit of fishing from the boat and being mobile and carp anglers don’t get on! I look forward to finding a solution to this!!!  Answers on a post card please!!! It is just as well that the lake is closed for the duration of the World Carp Classic to everybody boats, windsurfers and all other anglers and that is no mean feat I can assure you. For those of you that are competing in the event you really are experiencing something that has only ever happened during a World Carp Classic event so........enjoy the experience and do me a favor while you are at it....catch plenty of carp.
