With just two days left to go today, everything was stepped up yet another gear yesterday. Andy Chambers and his team covered an amazing 31 miles by road, boat and foot, pegging out the islands and forested areas, and they are happy to report that they have now broken the back of the pegging-out phase.

Yesterday was very frenetic for everyone and even though it was clear that the well organised groups were achieving their goals despite a heavy workload, I was still surprised to see just how much was being accomplished.

As we only arrived here just yesterday there really isn’t too much to tell you, so I will fill an otherwise blank page in my blog with a few words to let you know that I’m now set up and ready to go with my daily blog.
