Just to let you know there is a feature in this week and next weeks Carp Talk about Shuttleworth College where I teach during the winter term on all things fishing. This includes Event Management and in particular the World Carp Classic as half of the marshalls who undertake the weighing/witnessing and anything else we can think of at the event will come from the college and the classes that I teach. This is an event they really look forward to and hopefully by coaching them in advance as to what we expect of them we can make for an even better experience for everyone. It is also a two way thing and I also ask them what they would like to see improved for the marshalls and the general concensus was more hambugers and bacon butties and they will be happy as larry!! Such is their excitement for the event they are also looking to enter a team in this years event to fish and are holding qualifiers so as to see who will be the lucky pair that get to fish. |
